This is the best pick within the budget I was willing to spend. There may be better alternatives out there, but they're not worth it to me.
Why it's here
Revised May 2026This is the clearest example on the site of a slot that isn't solved. The panel is fine. The colours are fine. The single-cable USB-C dock is genuinely useful and saves a mess of cables. None of that is the problem.
The problem is that the anti-glare coating gives whites a faint grain that you cannot unsee once you've noticed it, and the stand wobbles if you type hard. At this price neither should be true.
I keep it because the alternatives are worse in ways that matter more — bad text rendering, no USB-C power delivery, or twice the money for a marginal gain. If you know of a 27-inch 4K monitor that doesn't have a grainy coating and does 90W over USB-C, please send it to me. I will happily take this page down.
